The Zookeepers Association Uganda (ZKAU) is a leading professional organization for zookeepers and animal care professionals in Uganda. Established in 2023, ZKAU serves as a platform for zookeepers to connect, share knowledge, and advance their careers in the field of zoological management. ZKAU aims to  to advance the field of zookeeping through professional development, education, advocacy, and collaboration. They aim to promote best practices in animal care, welfare, conservation, and public education.

The association typically consists of individual members who are employed as zookeepers, animal care staff, educators, or related professionals in zoos, aquariums, wildlife sanctuaries, and conservation organizations. Membership may also be open to students pursuing careers in zoological fields.
